That’s fine if you feel privileged, I worked dammed hard to get my privileges and luck so I have to disagree with your definition of what privileged means.
I don’t know where you got your cheap house from but my first house cost me £17500 I was paying £500 a month mortgage interest rates where 17.5%, I don’t call that cheap.
Younger people will only get a pension when they’ve worked and paid into and get to an age where they can retire and reap the benefits like we have so there’s no comparison to be made. I also disagree with your opinion of blaming people like me for what happened in the past, but that’s another discussion.
