Euronics Gran Alacant
Cautionary tale.
We recently ordered a new fridge freezer online with Euronics, paid extra to have it delivered (2nd floor no lift) and to have it installed. Euronics Gran Alacant called to arrange delivery, when we said that the door hinges needed to be on the left he said that would be and extra 25 euros, we questioned this as we had paid for installation but he was adamant, so we said don't worry we would do it ourselves and delivery was arranged for last Monday. On arrival one of the delivery lads said to have it bought up to our apartment it would cost 15 euros a floor, when we tried to explain that is was included they said nope manager at shop said that's it or no delivery, once the fridge was in the apartment it became apparent that the hinges were on the left. So we ended up paying and additional 55 euros, not happy. Contacted Euronics customer service on line, explained all this to be told we should not have been charged any of this and a refund was on the way. Thought it was not right as last year we went into Euronics Gran Alacant and purchased a TV and that was brought up 2 floors to our apartment with no extra charges.
