Hi we have a property in Torre that we are planning a permanent move to in June this year. I currently own and run a dog grooming business from home in South Wales and am hoping to continue this from my home in Torre. I am only looking to groom 4/6 dogs a week, does anyone know the legalities of setting up from home? I already have public liability insurance that allows me to groom in the EU. Any advice greatfully received. Also if you would be interested in using the service in the future please get in touch.

If you want to start up a small business, even on a part time, you would have to register yourself as Autónomo with the Spanish authorities. Additionally,you would have to register with the INSS ( Instituto Nacional de la Seguridad Social is Spain's Social Security National Institute) and Agencia Tributaria for tax purposes as all income would need to be declared. While I presume the majority of your clients would be Expats being able to speak Spanish would also be useful in communicating with Spanish Agencies and Authorities as well as Spanish clients,
