...s several supermarkets within 5 mins. The bars are mainly Spanish and they all know us and are very welcoming. Torrevieja central is a fantastic location, we are 7 mins walk from the new marina and 12 mins from a swimming area. Theses a bus stop around the corner, happy days! 

I admit a lot of footpaths need upgrading especially on the side streets, and some buildings don’t look great. But where would we get our very own escape in the sun for €52K including expenses, certainly not anywhere in Ireland. Long may it last. ✈️🌴☀️👙🍸

I've seen the other areas you mentioned but I find them quite secluded from things to do compairedvto Torrevieja

... world, but it is by no means all over the place, nor is it offensive, of what I have seen, also our area has an excellent bus route,  every 40 minutes approximately, and is a circle route to torrevieja, for 2 euros you can buy a travel card, which can be topped up on bus by 10 or 20 euros, it gives reduced fare of 60 cent,  as against 1.55 euro per trip, wish you the best of luck on your search, you won't regret it.

The usual 'I've heard' again. Well I live in Torrevieja and I can tell you there's more Spanish than anyone and second to that it's Belgians.  Yes of course we are having a few families from the Ukraine moving over, but so is everywhere that's affordable due to the current situation....

Torrevieja and the areas around it Inc Orihuela Costa is a beautiful place and very affordable. Overall it had fantastic bus links to many different places.

Personally I wouldn't go near the Mar Menor, it stinks! The water isn't great and the transport links are awful. Each to their own I suppose.  But asking someone to hold off looking because you have heard a certain nationality is around is a bit silly.

...; just 7 KLM from a number of beaches, all have good and free parking, the village has all amenities , public swimming pool in the summer and we have a community pool also

inc bakery, shop, doctor , pharmacy along with a wine bar and 3 other bars and places to eat, larger supermarkets are just a few minutes by car away. All nationalities here including Irish
