My friends need to find a trusted dog kennels to leave their mid-sized terrier over the Christmas period for around 2 weeks while they are away. They are willing to travel outside the area within reason, if necessary.

Any ideas or recommendations?

Thank you.

Maybe a reputable dog sitter, not that I know any.

Worth a Google?

Thank you, Robbie73.  I've already done a pretty extensive Google search and asked on various Facebook groups. This is one more step in my search.  Christmas is a busy time.

Hi Pauline,

We  have been looking for good kennels to put our rescue dog in  whilst we have a very short holiday (and peace and quiet !).

Amber Lodge Kennels has been recommended  by several people, and we are going to "check them out" one day next week.

If you like, I shall let you know how we got on and our opinion. As it may be a busy time, you might like to contact them and book.

They do have a web site. Address is  Partida Derramador 178.     03295 (Elche area)

Tp 966 668 993   Danielle  and Sam.

Hi again Pauline

We have just been told by Danielle. that the dates we had asked for  are full up, so not possible ! Obviously very popular

I have asked for alternative available dates and awaiting their response. Personally, I think they are worth "taking a chance on " as they seem so popular, and try and book that Christmas booking .   Hope you find they have availability. Good luck !

Hi  we have used Caniresort in La Marina.

https://www.caniresortcostablanca.com/

Professional, got a free gift, dog was bathed and didn't want to leave.

Definitely recommend.
