We are looking for reasonably priced internet for our apartment in torrevieja - to use to watch tv via apps and allow child to watch separately on iPad at same time. Only for our occasional use so I think that a thread in a past forum mentioned a turn on and off service?

Try  DVBLAB   available  in Torrevieja  area,  Good  service, English  company,   Switch on  off  service  available  online  before  you set out on your journey,  Has not let me down,  I  watch TV  from a Firestick, some Internet research  on small  laptop,  149  installed  and 19 a month  for a basic package

Not really because you can only watch one thing at a time.

I have also been with Dvblab for app 5 years with no complaints.

The basic start/stop package is perfect for a holiday home, easily activated on the Dvblab website prior to your visit, €19pm when used, zero when not needed.

So are you paying a double subscription to your supplier to enable you to watch one channel on TV  via your firestick and another  tv channel on your iPad . The price you are paying seems to suggest that.

What  make you  think 🤔  I  am  paying  on the Double,  There 2 chance  of that  happening.

The amount you are paying seems very high for a tv package, but from looking at your link  that figure  is for your internet package and not your tv subscription.

I was trying to clarify if the system you have allows you to watch different channels on different devices at the same time, which is what you said in your original answer. That is what our OP is looking for the ability to stream different channels  through the one tv package at the same time.  It’s most unusual to have that facility on a single subscription, you normally either have to have a multiplayer option or two separate subscriptions. So if that’s the facility available on the DVBlab tv package it sounds perfect for our OP.

FYI  I subscribe to 3 different  tv systems as  my husband and I frequently watch different sports. It’s also far easier to have that additional box rather than fiddling around changing  devices at 3am in the morning, when the alarm goes off so I can  watch tennis.  So taking out a double (or triple ) subscription to me is an excellent annd cheap  option. Especially as an annual subscription costs me far less that what I used to pay Sky per month.
