The last requirement was in medical centres which has now been withdrawn. Now just recommended but will be used in ICU, operating areas and areas with vulnerable patients. So no longer required in pharmacies.

I have still worn mine this week whilst visiting a pharmacy and my local health centre, as well as whilst visiting the cafeteria area in the local hospital.   There are still quite a lot of people who are still wearing theirs.

And I will carry on doing the same in those places.

Look after yourselves.

The EU regulation which required member states to issue the certificates expired on 1st July and will not be renewed. Covid Apps are also due to close in August in most European countries and you will no longer be able to download your Covid Certs. If you need one for any reason after that you will have to contact your health provider.

Agreed. There is simply not one shred of evidence that non- medical  grade facemasks made one iota of difference. The whole thing was a grotesque theatre of interventions by governments who had to be seen to act. If those continuing to wear non-medical masks derive comfort then fair enough but understand that it offers no protection to you or others.

Not one shred of evidence? that's a bit strong:

Well there is more than a shred in the first article that comes up when I google the question so I have to say your comment is incorrect.  IF worn correctly any type of face mask helps reduce the spread of airborne viruses.

I'm not a fan of mask wearing at all but recognise that it does help to a degree, like you I respect the right of  that people that continue to wear them if that makes them feel safe.

Rgds,

Aitch.

FP2  which a lot of countries insisted on was mainly for dust protection, protection against viruses was minimal. FP3 was a far better Item along with other masks with the same or better specs. FP2s Made many millionaires over night.
