Our local council disinfected our estate Sat. 28th. Minutes later two young persons drove up our street, from another area, got out and went into the young man’s parents home, NOT wearing masks and stayed for over two hours.  What’s in between their ears I have no idea. It beggars belief.

I concur.   I had not realised that as I had only gone on to the 'Home' pages.

But what does this mean in practice?  How are "all workers in non-essential activities" defined?  Does that mean hairdressers will no longer be able to do home visits to elderly and disabled clients?  Will Tabacs close?  As usual, the devil will be in the detail, and it would ...

...be good to know when that detail will be available.

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi Kim,

Just read that Petrol station members who are currently classed as essential workers are lobbying the Government and asking it to allow them to close due to reduced demand and traffic since the lockdown. It was in Olive News.

Keep safe,

Buzzby, not wanting to cast doubt on your comment but I have found Olive Press to be one of the most unreliable sources of information and news.

Fair enough John I respect your view. I think we will find out real clarity tomorrow I guess as the cabinet are in session today.

If you don't read your ill informed and if you do read you are misinformed 😢😢😡

They said that when the borders and ports were closed. Only residents and Spanish nationals are allowed in is my understanding. Look China are also banning foreigners coming into China from neighbouring countries now that they have contained the Virus. In actual fact they did open there borders briefly after after stabilization and new cases of covid19 began to surge again because travellers were bring in the contagion again !!!

All travel should be suspended to prevent further spread. It's the only thing we have to fight back 😢😢😡

I just clicked on your link to the first of your recommended sites though I can read the Spanish enough to get the gist I clicked on the menu ,top left and at the bottom of the list that opened up,in the middle clicked on the word and a new list opened up with a selection of languages, English being one. Clicked on it and it worked. Thankyou for pointing us to the excellent source of information
