Did you leave deposit and did you get back deposit ok. Everything went ok, took you back to airport ok.

No, he never took a deposit.

As they are older cars, he doesn’t even go around checking for extra scratches or dents when we have returned his cars. We really appreciated this, as I have read about so many people caught out being charged for scratches on the return.

We have used Steve 4 or 5 times now for airport runs and he has never been late. He asked us once if we would mind sharing the  car with other people and as we agreed he only charged €25 Euros. If we had minded, he would have got another person to either pick us or the other group up.

He’s flexible with his hiring as well. We didn’t need a car for the full two months, so we only had 3 hires totalling round two weeks.

After the reopening of Spain after the virus restrictions, he didn’t increase his prices in line with just about every other company to take advantage of the shortage of cars available for hire. So I always go out of my way to recommend him as a show of my appreciation for his integrity and service.

Basically the cars are older reliable run around, so it’s pot luck what you get.

He's asking for 280 euros and 100 euro deposit, seems a lot to me.

Don’t remember him asking us for a deposit, but maybe for newbies he asks a deposit and I had forgotten It was a few years ago. That deposit still seems reasonable to me, as you will get it back in full. I know some hire companies block off something like €1500 against your credit card, which I understand some people may prefer.

€280 for 12 days is an increase and not sure if that’s due to your rental being a peak period or it’s a new price? We have have only ever rented off peak, so will only find out when we rent next time. Thanks for letting us know.

Hadn’t thought about the €100 Euro transfer being included in the €280. So it seems like it’s €15 Euros a day now. TBH I’m surprised he hasn’t put up the transfer costs with the increased price of petrol.
