I lived in Spain before Brexit. I did not vote.

Just out of curiosity, why didn't you vote?

Because I'd decided to live here permanently and dedicate my time and thoughts fully to my host country.

I have been fortunate to have been fully accepted within my local community.

I wanted to leave the UK as many people do for various reasons so now I don't feel the need to involve myself with any part, even by my one vote, of choosing a UK government or a decision on Brexit.

Well as I always say,and Brexiters don’t like to hear it,thank anyone you know that voted for brexit. These are the fools that have amongst many things made more expensive and difficult to retire to Spain. And to the Brexiters......no,I’m not going to get over it.You don’t get away that lightly.

Actually most people who voted for Brexit are not Spanish property owners, so why would they bother to take into consideration what you think???  They are British citizens!

Sorry but I don’t think I mentioned British second home owners in Spain.Just an observation that the brexit has made it rather more expensive and difficult for ordinary Brits to come and live, work, retire to Spain.

Many people who were very happy living under the radar and abusing the NHS including members of my own family, well it has now come to an abrupt end thanks to Brexit, I am not pleased by the 90 day rule but the law is now the law!
