Hi Babs, 

I don't know of any exclusively 'Gay' bars or venues apart from Boys Club in Torrevieja (La Mata) area.

Most bars around Torreveija/ Orihuela Costa are gay friendly and we have never had any problems going out as a couple.

There are a few gay owned bars I know of, which are very friendly and you'll likely make loads of friends once you've visited a few times.

Jessies Bar in Los Balcones is owned by two lovely ladies, it has quiz nights and karaoke on a Friday that is a great laugh. Met so many people in there and many now considered friends. It's also frequented by gay people.

The Abbey in La Florida is very gay friendly.

I don't know if you are aware, but there was a Gay Pride event in Torrevieja a few weeks ago on the 3rd June. There was a good turn out. 

There are a few meeting groups on here, not for dating or anything but where local women get together for coffee and just a chat, have a search on here I'm.sure you'll find some.

Thank you yes I went to pride but was sat on my own, I don't have transport so will see what places you mentioned are on a bus route Thank you again 😊

I'm actually trying to persuade my local bar to do a singles night, as I have a few single friends (both gay and straight) that are looking for potential partners but more importantly to make friends who they can go out with and socialise with.

If I can sort it, I'll put it on here.
