Karol - If I recall it was around under €200 for the service. It would have cost far more in air fares to come out a couple of times to do it myself. It's well worth it.
As Andrew says, you don't have to take the agents preferred soliciitor, however we decided to do so after checking around, looking at reviews and talking to folk who had used them. As long as you do your homework, you'll be fine.
