Hi

me and my wife in two years have had two babies the youngest Being 11mths so not really had the opportunity to look throughly into buying a property, as a dream of giving our kids as well as ourselves a better life is expected to happen in the next year or two!!!

How easy/hard is it to buy?

Is credit scoring needed to buy?

Looking forward to hearing your advice

Kind regards

If you are coming over as a cash buyer you could get off the plane in the morning and with the right (?) estate agent have a bank account, NIE, solicitor and deposit paid the same day. Selling can take a whole lot longer.
If you need a mortgage then I imagine a credit check would be mandatory.
You don't say where you are from or if this would be a permanent move or a holiday home. If you are from the UK then Brexit will have consequences. If it is going to be a permanent move then you will have to go through a form of credit scoring to be able to become a legal resident. Unemployment is high even if you speak Spanish fluently.

Yes it would be a permanent move, but unemployment on a high is off putting!!! I’m a teamleader in TATA steel so heavy earth moving machines etc is my preference but as long as my family are happy I’m willing to do anything for them to have a better life style..

Thank you so much for your help and further visits to Spain I guess is needed
