What is the safest and legal way of getting Mains Gas disconnected. I have a Gas water heater and Gas hob I wish to have disconnected in safe and proper manner

Hi,
I would contact a qualified installer/repairer of gas appliances in your area and ask them to remove the equipment you no longer require. Then contact your gas supplier to advise them to disconnect you supply.
In Los Dolses I have used a company called Tu Bano for gas boiler repairs. The one I use is located in La Fuente Commercial Centre but I believe they have other branches
Any qualified installer will be able to remove the equipment and safely cap the gas supply pipe.

Thanks for replying 🙂. I am getting rid of Gas water heater as it old and Gas company standing charges. Plus renovation of Kitchen
