having a melt down i requested the deeds from solicitor when i recieved them the person name on them is not mine i assume its the sellers name should they not have my name on them or is it normal to have sellers still on losing my mind everything is so complicated
Er, no. They should, obviously, be in your name and the amount paid would have changed as well. Don't know when you bought but it can take some time to get the deeds (you should get the nota simple quickly) but I would suggest you contact the notary who completed the deal as they will have a copy of the deed when it was put in your name.
Could just be a blip on behalf of your solicitor but the deeds should definitely be in your name.

Ya thought so makes no sense bought house a year ago but never realy looked at paperwork stupid of me I know previous owner had similar first name thanks for your help

Would suggest you re read the Escritura, keeping as calm as possible! On ours, the first person named is the previous owner (or, technically his legal representative) and only after some legalese surrounding this are we named. There are several references throughout the document to the previous incumbent, and also our own abogada is named. Of course it is entirely possible that an error has been made, but it may be unlikely, and if you are uncertain you should certainly consult the Notario.
