Tourist License change of titular

Hello,

Previously we had a company take care of renting out our apartment, they got the VT number back in 2014. Now they have gone out of business so we are renting ourselves. We have been able to get access from the police to register renters online without a problem.

We would like to modify the VT license. Do modifications to licenses have to have a compatibility report from the Torrevieja town hall just to change the titilar or is the extra report only required for new licenses?

What modification do you need to do to the Tourist License?  If you are looking to amend the person responsible for registering the guests that doesn't require the License itself to be changed.  Make an appointment at the local Guardia Civil office to register for login codes, take the License, your NIEs and your passports with you.  The previous code would be registered to the letting agency not yourself so you would not be able to use it even if you knew it.  You may need to take an interpreter.  If the name on the License is wrong (it should be in the name of the property owner) then you will need to apply for the amendment to the License first, which is done via the office for tourism in Alicante https://www.turisme.gva.es/opencms/opencms/turisme/es/contents/tramitacion/viviendas_turisticas/viviendas_turisticas.html?tam
