Playa Flamenca is a good place to base yourself - it has the beaches, local shops, restaurants and supermarkets, weekly street market and is mainly within walking distance to Zenia Boulevard.

Whether pets are allowed is down to individual communities.

All properties need some sort of heating in winter. In newer properties hot/cold (inverter) air con units are sufficient. Or you may prefer electric wall heaters, a gas fire or even a pellet/wood burner. There is mains gas available but not on all communities.

Although in summer there are a lot of tourists there is sufficient resident and second home owner population for the area to stay 'open' all year round.
