Hi, I think I've made a mistake want to move to Torrevieja at the end of March, booking an apartment for one month and using this month to look for a long term apartment. There are some long term apartments available, but I need to have a view before renting. That's not a problem, my problem is that I have not considered the Easter holiday break, so to find an apartment that is not so expensive and need to have WIFI, because I'm working from home, is quite difficult.

I've already contacted some holiday lets but was not successful. Can anybody recommend a holiday let I could contact? Thankfully for each advise.

Thank you in advance

Christine

Can't help you with a place but all places with a tourist licence needs to have wifi fitted. As you said you wanted to rent for a month it would be classed as a tourist let.

Unless things have changed drastically, there is a glut of both short and long term rentals in the Torrevieja area and environs.

People who rent make more over the Easter and Summer periods than the rest of the year combined so prices will rise in those periods.

Try this facebook group.  All the properties are direct from the owners and all have a Tourist.  A few owners in Torrevieja or very nearby. License.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/1169086547100991

thank you. That's different here in Fuengirola most apartments don't have WiFi.

Thank you yes have tried both. That's me thought I've everything good organized, but forgotten that there are the Easter holidays, but OK now I need to get through it. Maybe anybody here knows a trustworthy air b&b?

I gave this facebook group before - everything advertised on there has a checked License.  You can put up a post saying what you need with dates, number of guests and where you want to be.

Are there any apartments available outside the Easter period? If so, why not check out hotel accommodation for that time.   Failing that, change your travel dates if you can. It’s a shame but a holiday period demands much higher rates. Are you driving?  You could check out accommodation in some of the smaller towns away from the coast and travel around the area.
May I wish you all the best for your search.. I sincerely hope you find the perfect place for yourself.

Hi. I have a studio apartment few minutes walk away from  La Mata beach. If you interested let me know. It's available for Easter as it's free at the moment and I didn't put it on Airbnb yet.
