thanks for the information, we were going to take food/drinks and chairs with us, or can you buy food and drink at the beach?, do people go to the beach at 10 AM to avoid traffic jam and parking difficulty? So what else do we have to be aware of?

The beach bar was open last year and there was a burger type of grill set up at the back of it, don't know exactly what food was on sale as we left at 1pm as we were out for lunch. We took bottles of Cava with us.

The party is still going on a lot later than 1pm. We were having a coffee at a restaurant by the beach at 2.30 and there were loads of people still there. In fact there were so many people still about, even at that time, my wife had to queue for almost 30 minutes to use the restaurant toilet. If the weather is good it is likely to go on to very late afternoon.

We saw lots of Spanish people come to look at all the people dressed in Santa gear in the afternoon. Lots of flags of different nationalities on display on the beach in different areas.

just got the answer to my question today, the Brass Band will play at Campoamor beach this Year and not at La Zenia Beach, otherwise business as usual.
