Today started with the death of our dear friend Vernon Nesbeth just before 6am. He got up, ready to start the day, then couldn't breathe and was dead in minutes! So sad, as it is very hard to accept that someone like Vernon is no longer around. His wife Wendy is devastated and convinced that she will never believe that it has happened.
He will be missed.
Sending condolences to Wendy, family & Friends. I have fond memories of "I am a mole & I live in a hole". A blast from my childhood.

I loved the song Alone as well as the Mole in a Hole one.
Its all really unbelievable and so sad.

Please send condolences to Wendy Nesbeth. I did some publicity work for the Southlanders early 2000s and really enjoyed being in the company of Vernon and Wendy. He was a lovely man and will be sorely missed.

Its all really unbelievable and so sad.
Sad that Wendy is now dead, but she has had a really rough time since Vernon died last year, in spite of all the help and support she was given she was really not doing well. I miss them so much, and cannot believe that they are no longer now just down the road from us!
