Hi all I was wondering if the Friday market is with in walking distance of the El Molino area. Or would you need transport to get to it many thanks Frank and stay safe
Hello
The Friday Market has 2/3 different entrances and it is easily walkable from the area you mentioned. Look at a map of the market and the opposite side to the main entrance is closest to you. You can get the bus back if you want to ( Line H) which will pass & stop close to your area.

Sorry Frank,
There’s an El Molino bar/restaurant on the beach front near La Mata market. I thought that was where you were referring to.

If I’m correct, you are close to the La Mata beach area. If so, you can walk to the top of Avenue de Agua ( Sea Road) The C bus stops across the road and you can jump on and it will drop you off close to the market. ( Ask the driver). DO NOT take the A line from La Mata as it goes in a different direction into town. There’s a nice little market on a Wednesday in La Mata. If you walk along the boardwalk from your area into / close to La Mata, you’ll see people walking to and fro carrying shopping bags! The market is held on the streets closeby, so easy to see.
I think the C bus runs every 30 minutes but the La Mata bus runs every 20 minutes if you want to go into Torrevieja.
In answer to your question, could you walk to the market, Yes, if you enjoy walking. You will need to walk towards the AVENUE DE VALENCIA. ( lots of different roads will lead you there). You will see a tall pillar in the middle of the road which we fondly call THE NEEDLE. Turn right and walk to the bottom. You will pass the big community swimming pool and football pitches. Just ahead, you will see a multitude of people both coming and going to the Friday market. I hope this helps. Enjoy.
