Don't get me started on...

You need to publish a list of the things not to get you started on. You seem an OK type of person, but my god you have a seriously long list of things that get you going, some I have to say with no obvious reasoning. You go into attack mode in milliseconds! I've seen more than a few fall foul of ...

...you getting started, it's not pleasant, and often very unfair, so a list would be terribly helpful to other users.

" so a list would be terribly helpful to other users."

Yes. A list towards patience. as RayD has a low level of patience & often fails to maintain it.

I think Ray would agree?

Ray is passionate about Spain. He's passionate about the law, illegal immigration, flouting regulations and the black economy. He may rub people up the wrong way with the way he puts it sometimes but in my opinion he's right most of the time.

People like Ray and I, and others who have chosen to make Spain our home, are fed up with British people who get Britain a bad reputation with the Spanish. We have to deal with that perception when integrating with locals.

We want to see the Spanish authorities crack down on it. A lot of the culprits are probably hypocrites who complain about illegal immigration to Britain but quite happy to operate illegally in Spain.

He should be applauded for it, not pilloried.

I go with you. (Ray is passionate about Spain.) Full marks!

But could we not pillory him a little & then applaud after?

ps: He´s never rubbed me up. But there again, I´m too nice.!!!

To many he comes across as a; bigoted, bitter, old fool. Maybe he has become what he despises? It's why I blocked him some time ago.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Perhaps not, which is why I said borderline, but he was looking for a reaction. Borderline baiting. But we can agree to disagree 👍

Steve , I really respect your comments in this thread, but regarding Rayd, as in my latest post to him , I said i respect his views too , even tho I don't agree with a lot of them , but sometimes his anti British angst gets a lot of people's backs up , as I said I'm proud to be english /British and rightly or wrongly I will always stick up for my country when people are slagging it off

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

I am with RayD but

"I have NO patience with people trying to be dishonest and trying to beat the system, or break the law," not just "little" patience the rest likewise

Trolling - to post inflammatory or inappropriate messages or comments (on the Internet, especially a message board) for the purpose of upsetting other users and provoking a response

Well, certainly a response was provoked here and it did not make attractive reading.

I’m sure RayD will respond

There are others on this forum who post mean, sarcastic, occasionally misogynistic remarks. It’s a pity they’re not taken to task by members so readily
