Go to a chinses shop in Spain, there are everywhere.
Ask for a jell apply this on your hands, legs, neck, not to sure of the face and the mosses keep away. It is in yellow in color.

Our son and family are renting a villa just behind the Mercadona at San Luis. Getting bitten to pieces and nothing tried seems to help. No fly screens on windows or doors.

Alternatively, Mercadona sell a very effective spray, in an orange bottle (100ml) simply called 'Fuerte Repelente Insectos' for about 3 or 4 euros. Application lasts about 6 hours

We just came home today. We stayed in Acequion area. Mosquitos were a right pain and we all have a lot of bites. Oh and that buzzing at night when trying to sleep.
Tried some sprays but nothing seemed to work.

Torreta 2, they have been increasing daily since Sunday. Go outside and its pot luck, Hopefully because of the school they will spray the area in the very near future. Need another spray to stop the teachers grabbing our parking spaces 5 days a week!

The same type of jelly you apply to your parts comes in a candle form with a wick. Or a string.
Burn the wick/string and keeps the mossis out. Has the be the lemon smelling one.
If all fails invite Putin in. HaHaHa

Actually the spirals that you can get are quite good if you are a family or have guests and you are eating/drinking outside. They last a couple of hours each and there are usually 10 in a pack. They need to be separated as they are pressed in pairs.
We have all the normal Mozzie blinds to protect us indoors, They are a bit sneaky though and follow you in. An electonic Zapper is good fun when their numbers really rise!
