The same type of jelly you apply to your parts comes in a candle form with a wick. Or a string.

Burn the wick/string and keeps the mossis out. Has the be the lemon smelling one.

If all fails invite Putin in. HaHaHa

Thank you.

Hello

I'm pleased to say there is, currently no rain & no mosquitos in La Mata ....happy days.

Cheers

Elinspain

We’re in La Mata and all badly bitten 2 evenings ago.  No idea if mosquitoes but imagine it was.  TIP. Roll on deodorant helps take the terrible itch away.

I should add that I haven’t been bitten in years but was badly attacked by the dreaded attackers on Tuesday evening.

It's about 10 days after the first decent amount of rain and wet areas need to remain wet for those 10 days or so, the last 2 plus weeks have been ideal. Feeding fest for Bats. Build yourself a Batbox, very easy and lots of info on the web! Bats are having a hard time surviving with the Environment that we are creating!

The've Bugged off in Torry 2, I think they must have sprayed the area, yesterday pm there were just a few around. Today we haven't seen one and we have been outside here for a couple of hours. Teachers left early too, perhaps it's a new type of spray!!!

Growing up in Africa and Asia this is the way to deal with mosses.

After 4 keep all windows doors closed. No wet surfaces. No wet tea bags or wet coffee power. Mosses love tea and coffee.

Spray your mop leave cut Lemmon pieces in parts of the house.

At 8 pm spray bedrooms with mosquito spray close the doors.

Good luck

Keep toilet seat down.

There appears to be some new critters on the block this year. There are some small brown flies and / or something else that leaves a red swelling and itches for a couple of days. they seem to have disappered along with the Mozzies, It has been confirmed that the sprayer came around Friday am.

We have roller mosquito blinds apart from the outer grill door which has a fixed net and have taken great care on gaps where they can get in. Bedrooms etc are off a separate corridor with a door which is usually closed. The odd one gets in when we enter or leave and are usually dealt with very swiftly. The electric Raid/Bloom are quite effective too, 30 minutes usully means all clear!
