Hi shelly,

I am moving out to spain after xmas, I have a few friends out there, I have also got work lined up as I need to work as I do in the uk, my son has been learning Spanish for the past year and i know some but still learning, we are just taking the plunge sell up and move on if it dosnt work out then fine , but I do know that if I dont try I will regret it life is far to short.

We are going out middle of next month for a week to view a few houses and I have a job interview.

People say there is no work out in spain but its like here if u are willing to do anything there is something.

I have been saving for years and changing my money to euros when rates in my favour so I have cash ready.

Instead of thinking what if i cant think of course I can,,,, follow your dream hun xx

Hi Kerina

That is amazing you are taking the plunge I wish you the very best of luck out there, I would have worked at anything but I believe to get contract work is very hard as you need this to be able to pay into the Spanish system, I also believe that it's hard for young adults 18/25 to get work out there and I have twins 18 next year coming with me.

Do you mind if I ask how you bagged yourself an interview, I wouldn't know where to start,

Hi Kimmy I spoke to the agent today as I didn't wish to publish anything about him or his company without his approval and as you said he deserves to be recognised as a good kind decent estate agent not looking to pull the wool over anyone's eyes so for that reason I want everyone out there who is thinking of making the move to speak to this gentleman from

INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY SALES AND LETTINGS  Nigel Hoggett <nigel@interpropertysales.com>  he saved me from making a huge mistake and when the time is right for me to move this is the one person I will contact to help me buy my dream home.

Hi shelly, I just searched for different companies and sent alot of emails. We only have our 12 year old at home now who has been learning spanish for the last year and I can speak a little, as much as people say you dont need to speak the lingo I think it's just ignorance of u dont try ,, the hardest thing for me is finding a long term rent we have no proof of income as we have been saving cash then changing into euro when the rate has been in our favour but I've got a few lined up now as I have said we will pay 6 months rent cash upfront.

Hi Karina I'm doing a bit of Spanish on the duolingo app and I had enrolled in a Spanish course for this month but it got cancelled. I am very interested in learning the language. I think I will have to park my dream for a few years although it pains me to say so. I'm terrified of loosing everything here in Ireland if I don't make it out in spain. I hope everything works out for you.

Hi shelley, my wife and i have just come back from, guardamar and torrevieja,we are retired and looking for the sunshine for health reasons, we  were shocked how hot it was,and had to keep our walking to a minimum, because we felt the energy being sucked out of us,we had no idea it would be that hot for the time of the year, so it was a reality check for us, however,

the dream is not over,we will have holidays and look for longish term rental in the winter months, as for now we will make the best of the weather in kerry,if it ever stops peeing down,

Ahh hello Sean and anita the weather was beautiful last week over there amazing for that time of year. We too were at guadamar beach what a beautiful place. We were staying in torrevieja and visited a few of the other towns. Loved it I'm not giving up on my dream just putting it off for now. Going to learn the language up my workskills and who knows I might have something to offer the Spanish community.

Best of luck Shelly ☘

Unfortunately, Shelley, the temperature has dropped dramatically this week and we have had quite a bit of rain (thankfully not as much as last month).
