Hi, I am sure this has been discussed before, but I cannot find a recent topic discussion.  My old estate agent has previously been submitting my non resident taxes but they have decided not to do this moving forward,  Can anyone suggest a person or organisation to do this, I live in the UK and my property in Torrevieja is a holiday home.

Thank you in advance

Hi Darren,

Before I became resident in Spain, I used to use Spanish Tax Forms - it can all be done online and you can either pay the tax due when you're in Spain, or Spanish Tax Forms can do it for you for a small additional charge:

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi Darren

I also use Spanish Tax Forms. The company has been established for many years and I have always found them very efficient and helpful.

Regards

Anne

You could have a go yourself .

Here is the form you fill in.

https://www2.agenciatributaria.gob.es/wlpl/OV17-M210/index.zul

and here’s a guide to fill it in,

https://www.citizensadvice.org.es/wp-content/uploads/PERSONAL-TAXATION-IN-SPAIN-NOTE-6-COMPLETING-THE-FORM-210-FOR-NON-RESIDENTS1.pdf

you then print the 3 page form and take it to the bank to pay.

I did it myself for the first time last year, after searching through this forum for guidance and it’s not as bad as it looks.

you will need the catastral value of your property to do the calculation.

Thanks for sharing these links. I have stumbled across this topic "Spanish non resident taxes" and have not thought about taxes apart from the local and community ones. So is this something I must pay on my property even if I do not rent of have a source of income in Spain.

Hi rogerstyles,

Yes, if you're not resident in Spain and don't rent out your Spanish property, you still have to pay imputed tax, based on the Cadastral value of your property.  You don't say how long you've owned your property, but the tax authorities can claim back-taxes up to 4 years, plus fines, so best to get this rectified as soon as possible.

Kind regards,

Kim
