Not simples Gles, it’s each bank that decides to charge or not rather than the atm service companies. In Asia there are hundreds of banks and those that charge or not charge are changing all the time. In Spain caixa and rural bank used to be free, who knows next week Deutsche May decide to charge. It’s almost impossible to keep tabs on it. I don’t think Wise would want to contact every bank in the world regularly to check if they are charging or not charging Wise card holders.

Not sure why it would do that Paul, as a Wise card holder I already know the Wise atm charges in Spain, (free at Deutsche up to 200 euros a month, and 1.75% charge above that).

Independent atm’s have to charge to cover their costs. The common independent atm is Euronet (yellow and blue) and their charges are extortionate, there have been posts on this forum in the past detailing their ridiculous exchange rates that scam customers.

Strongly advise you to stay clear of Sabadell.  They are devils.  Had a financial inheritance issue with them.  Sabadell did NOT block my late parents' Sabadell bank account and all the finances have vanished.  Like many banks they are not open, honest, truthful or transparent.    

We closed our Sabadell account during our last visit in Spain, that said i would use their ATMs for withdrawing money from WISE assuming the charges are not punitive.

I went to the 2x DEUTSHE Banks in Torrevieja yesterday.

Withdrawn money from both ATM's at the 2 different Bank locations after driving all around Torrevieja and was charged 14.94€ charges / fees.

So Deutsche Bank is certainly NOT FREE ATM withdrawals using the Wise Card

Why did you proceed with the transactions? Cash machines have to tell you the fee they will charge before you proceed.

You need to distinguish between what Deutsche Bank charged on your 2 transactions versus what Wise charged on the same transactions. I think you'll find that DB charged nothing.

So you excepted the charges? Why complain about them then? People on here are only trying to help not delgive false information.
