Has anyone had the pleasure of meeting with Jesus Navarro dermatologist at Torrevieja hospital!!!!!

On his profile he states he speaks English but he barely spoke any language just grunts now and then impossible to understand him

Then be sensible and take an Interpreter. He probably does speak some English but like many doctors and consultants prefers his native tongue when discussing health matters. Legally he is on safer ground.

Oh yes I have a few times and even though I speak Spanish he still grunts and has all the charisma of a wet fish.

That said he is an excellent surgeon.

It would appear that as a Dermatologist he has some weak spots!!!!

Didn’t like him or trust him at all so went private to Quiron because Torrevieja had no alternative!

Whilst I am not in a position to comment on your personal unfortunate experience, it may also be difficult for medical personnel trying to advise and treat ‘ foreign’ patients, who have little or no command of the National language here. It is always advisable to take a translator if your language skills are not sufficiently comprehensive. Many current medics do have some command of English, and many of the younger ones, especially the equivalent of GPs, are reasonably fluent, but it should not necessarily be expected.

I did have a translator with me  he still didn't have any eye contact and was difficult to understand I fully appreciate the language difference

Hi Lowri,

Jesus Nevarro has a terrible reputation.  Multitudes of patients have made complaints, but since Torrevieja Hospital was taken back under control of the Valencian health authority, it has to take what it can get.  Apparently, he's an excellent specialist in his field, but has zero bedside manner.

Kind regards,

Kim
