Most of the travel agents who take part will do it for you. Think you need resident card/TIE and passport.

Not true! For any residential pensioners who qualify! Insisting on Nationality would result in similar schemes abroad being refused to Spaniards. Against EU regs

This explains it .you need to go to the https://www.imserso.es/imserso_01/busqueda/index.htm then tourism and fill the form in its takes ages till they accept you then you get a
Letter when time to book you can then book on line or at the travel agents opposite the side of the town hall. It is open to pensioners who are residents photo explains system

Is this travel program limited to spain and portugal?
How about the insurance? Pre existenting conditions included?
To Portugal, how about covid warnings Foreign Affairs Spain , negative travel advice? Is it covered.
Is there NO negative travel advice to Portugal?

When you first get accepted only choice of holidays on main land spain but after that canaries and Majorca Ibiza no mention of portugal this year . Travel insurance is included in cost and no worries about pre medical issues as your sip card covers it
