I have a 2 bedroom apartment in La Mata for rent (we just moved to a bigger place). Its literally less than a minutes walk to the beach. We lived there for 3 years and loved the location. La Mata is also a very family friendly location.
I have a youtube video and some photos if interested.

Hi Rick
You wont find a nicer place to settle down than Play de Los Locos , we have been coming and going now for 14 years
and when we retire intend to spend as much time as possible,
