We are also looking into buying a caravan for permanent living. Seeing some of the comments in here both for and against is certainly making us reconsider our options. Thank you all

I think caravans are great if you not got a lot of money for your purchase but the ground rent is expensive making it a lot more expensive than bills for a small apartment. You would prob meet more people on a site but you can meet lots people in a community . Also caravans depreciate whereas apartment gain or at least keep value if you buy wisely .

We did consider this too, but site fees were expensive, and then van depreciates, then would possibly need to be moved off a site if too old. So think carefully about your options.

We did actually live in Almeria. Had a beautiful villa, however, bought in the boom and sold in the bust. Came out too early.

Would dearly love to come back but a lack of finances unfortunately dictate what we can reasonably afford.

Been a bit undecided, cold in winter, too hot in summer in a static. Think we may have to

Reconsider our options 😞😞😞xxx

Hi, there are several residential sites, all are very different, so it depends what you are looking for
