Hello

It is still 2022 & lots of things can change in the next year & a half before 2024 and you could be able to  come to live here. In the meantime, come and have 1 or 2 holidays in Torrevieja, look around the  central town & the surrounding areas & see where you might like to look for somewhere to rent.

Ask your questions again later next year,  and someone can then give you some more accurate answers when you have some idea of where you would like  to live( you could change your mind by then).

If you have EU passports, then moving will not be too difficult.......many nationalities live here.

Cheers

Hello

That's good to hear.  You will learn so much & you can always ask for help for your holidays, if you need it.

Come at different times of the year....looking in winter,  up to Easter,  when it is colder, quieter & some things/places are not available , it  will be very different to coming from June - Sept, when the temperatures can be extremely high , the town is full of tourists & holiday home owners and everywhere  from restaurants, shops, beaches to buses are very busy.

Enjoy your visit

Cheers
