By late May/ June last year we had put a deposit down on our house and by July 20th we had crossed over into France and started the drive down to complete the paperwork.

By September we had applied/ been granted a favourable outcome for our residency online with digi certs.
We received our new Spanish driving licenses early January after applying in early October.
Since January we have been mostly cold and wet, hopefully weather will pick up soon along with vaccinations which improve day by day here.
Hi Lancelot - my husband and I drove over August 2020, staying in the holiday home we’d owned for many years in Rojales. We now have residencia and SIP card but have been waiting for driving licences for 4 months. We have bought a property in Moraira which are moving into tomorrow following renovations.
Like you, we are looking forward to getting vaccine and to the summer! Can’t wait to get into our very own pool 🥳🏊♂️
