Well Kevman here’s a shock for you,I worked for a guy in Guernsey who when he decided to retire as a commissioner for the EU was given a cheque so large it was eye watering,we are talking millions,and that was the reason he was in the tax free Channel Islands.The money he admitted was basically hush money,so given the fact that he is now living the life of luxury,what mug would turn that down,given that incentive everyone would take it,it’s call,being human,and the word is Greed.

We are not doing to good ourselves here in Spain with inflation now at %10, hopefully the tourist will return and give us an economic boost,but if there life style is threatened they will not come then we are stuffed.Everything seems to revolve around Brexit,but my friend runs the kitchen in a local restaurant earning around €9 per hour, the same job in the U.K. would earn her £180 per day.It’s a massive difference when it was cheap to live here,but if we lose all our young Spanish kids,it’s probable we will never get them back,and moving to the U.K. will not demand they have to show they have thousands in the bank unlike Spain.So to the EU or the Spanish government,stop this lunacy and get more people here to fill up all the empty villas and let’s get back to near normal.
