I use the Costa Azul app for Torrevieja bus services. I’m pretty sure buses run 365 days a year so you’ll be able to get around easily from the centre.

Thank you so much annier999. the help I have received on this forum has been amazing

Hi Cathy I’m also visiting for this holiday period and if you want to taxi share etc to restaurants outside of Torreveija I’d be happy to share. Peter.

Hi Cathy

Last year in the Plaza de la Constitution in front of the church there was live eneternment every evening.  Opera, Pop bands, Orchestra's leading up to Christmas Eve when Santa is seen climbing up the townhall and fireworks are let off. There is also a huge moving display which is very popluar as its different every year again all around the Plaza area.  I can receommend the beach bars on Acequieon beach next to the Marina Internaconal which were open all day on Christmas Day last year for a meal, but as mentioned previously most of the Xmas Dinners "British Style" will be fully booked all ready. Its lovely in Torrevieja at christmas theres plenty of places to eat we have a place in the centre and never booked any resturants and always find somewhere to eat over the christmas period so dont worrry.

Hello Pete

That is the street , Calle is street,& its very central in the town of Torrevieja. The main street is Calle Ramon Gallud with access to many buses travelling around the area from outside Hotel Fontana.

Cheers

Thank you so much Annie21we are really looking forward to experiencing it all, as for British type dinner that really doesn't bother us at all, so hopefully our Xmas day will be totally different to our norm. Thanks for your info,

Cathy and Steve

Hello, Meetup is an app that has loads of free events just type in your interests and area and choose from the list. It’s worldwide. Hope that helps. Peter.
