Can anyone recommend: Hairdresser
We are new to the forum and my wife wants to know if anyone can recommend an English speaking ladies hairdresser who does "foil highlights".
I presume the ladies will know exactly what that means!

Hi,
As I'm not too sure of which area of Torrevieja you're looking in I can only recommend my hairdresser whom I've been using for over 13 years.
His name is Peter and he is the owner of Urban Hair in La Siesta. Very good and honest hairdresser who will give advice (if you want it) about what suits you.

Thanks for your reply I will pass that info on to my wife.

I have lived in Spain for 6 years, and never had a decent haircut! Seems to me that folk come over here, and just decide to be a hairdresser, with no qualifications? I'll be very interested in any recomendyou might get.

Hi,
I can certainly recommend Urban Hair as Peter used to run his own large salon in England years ago before setting up on his own over here. I've never had a bad haircut from him :)
I do know what you mean about setting up without much experience as having been a qualified ( yet not award winning......unless you count my swimming awards!lol!) chef here for over 17 years I've seen many so called experts come and go.
Certainly nothing wrong with a change of career as I'm all for diversity but a little more knowledge than from freezer to table does help.

Thank you. I am going to give him a try. I literally wanted to cry after my last haircut in June. You can imagine how I look now, some 6 months later? Gracias.
