Hello

I used a translator for 15 years to accompany me to my Doctor, only when she went off sick long term ,was I offered the chance to change.

My friend was told it was not an acceptable reason to change for "English speaking Dr" -- just bring an interpreter, the onus is on you to make yourself understood!

Cheers

Elinspain

Exactly

The onus is on you. The reason  being rhat if you have misunderstood their english it is your responsibility. Makes sense to me, and thousands of others who don't speak spanish.
