What green card?   I have had a Spanish driving licence since 2005 and have never heard of a green card.

The card we used to have as EU residents (Register of foreign EU citizens residing in Spain) was sometimes referred to asl the green card.

I'm assuming the person asking is a EU citizen and is awaiting an appointment at a National Police station or a Foreigners' Office with National Police administration.

Appointments for anything seem to take a long time now.

You can apply yourself and will usually get the response "there are no appointments available at the moment, please try later". It is just a case of trying at different times of the day. There are several companies that can apply on your behalf and they seem to get appointments quicker. There are at least two in Quesada for example so imagine there would be some in Torrevieja. The ones in Quesada are One Way services and the Expat Centre (I think there are a couple more).

Abaco advisers in Torrevieja used to do it as well but that was a long time ago so don't know if they still do it.

Thanks very much for your reply ! We have a lawyer onboard so maybe I will tell them to pull their finger out 😄👍🏻

Are you sure it is the  Extranjería office of Policia Nacional in Calle Larremendi  in Torrevieja. It was only renewing Spanish passports since Covid. Unless they have recently  reverted back to full service.
