Hello ,

New to the forum, looks like a great site for getting local info and tips.

I’m just seeing if anyone does airport transfers.

I’m getting quotes on the internet for around £ 120 return. Just thought there maybe some people who do the transfers a lot cheaper ?

We are coming out to look at property’s to purchase as a holiday home and one day move to.

We have seen a couple around the area to the right of Torreta 3 as you look at it on google maps, is this area good ?

Do some research on flooding in the area. We have torrential rain at times and the soil is too baked to soak it up causing flash flooding, the CV 905 is affected badly and parts of Toretta III have been flooded.

You are lucky as the taxi's and buses are very good in the Torrevieja area.

It's highly advisable to use legally registered Taxi's as the police are clamping down strongly on unlicensed 'taxis'. If the vehicle you are in is not a legally licensed Spanish taxi and is stopped by Guardia Civil, the passengers could be fined along with the driver, and the vehicle confiscated.

There is an airport bus that goes from and to Alicante Airport /Torreveija all year round on the hour up to a certain time in the evening http://www.torrevieja.com/eng/services/torrevieja-alicante-airport-bus-timetable.html

but if you need a taxi it should be around 50euros each way if booked in advance. The price you get when enquiring online is always more expensive than booking personally.

Just googled it and seen some of the floods on YouTube, thanks for pointing that out .

On a plus point the bungalow we are looking at is an upper one so won’t be affected as much as the lower ones .
