I should have thought of this when packing my table lamps but is there anywhere in Torrevieja where one can buy the large bayonet bulbs for British lamps?

I believe there are adapters. Bayonet/screws.If not (down there), someone will import for UK´s

Not seen any in Chinese Bazzars that I have frequented, but have seen the ES.to BC converters mentioned by RayD ,,earlier.

I have bought them at the Zoco Sunday market on a few occasions. It's the stall at the bottom of the RH aisle as you approach from the car park.
Just change the light fitting, two minute job.
