Hi all

At home I get Tesco home delivery as I can’t carry big items as I’ve a bad back!

Who in Torrevieja will do home delivery and do you need ni card to do it!?

Hi,

I know Mercadona do home deliveries,  not sure about NIE requirement. Just go on their website and it should tell you.

Happy shopping:)

Just because you have a Mercadona near it does not necessarily mean they will deliver. We are within walking distance of a Mercadona, I tried to do online shopping when my husband had a stroke but they did not deliver!

Hello

Yes, me too --during lockdown last year, I am fairly close to Mercadona  but at no time did they deliver to my address.

Cheers

We had a Carrefour delivery last year after the pandemic began, it took at least three weeks.

Produce wouldn’t have been very fresh when it arrived!

As I remember, we went on to a queue before we could place our order, despite being ‘elderly and infirm’, and supposedly shielding, therefore a priority for home delivery, that queue was weeks long.  The system once having placed an order, was efficient, but we have chosen not to use it again.  We just geared ourselves up for a weekly shop half a mile away at our local Aldi.

Sadly Spain is still in the dark ages when it comes to home deliveries.

So true, I’ve only just found out via this thread that Carrefour did home delivery.

I wish I’d known that when we were in lockdown and forced to shop in our nearest supermarket.
