I may have raised this topic before - I can’t remember as my issue with Conforma’s delivery dates has been going on so long!  The story is that we ordered a sofa from them in the middle of June and were given at least THREE different forecasts regarding delivery date.  The best was 7 weeks and the worst 12 weeks.  It’s a fairly standard, modestly priced three-seater.  It’s not some “special, bespoke creation”.  We still don’t have it and FIFTEEN WEEKS have now gone by.  I called in on them a couple of weeks ago and was told it could be as late as 30 September before we get it but someone would call me later that day to confirm a date.

Nobody called, obviously, and I only have next week before returning to the UK at the end of this latest visit.  My partner is flying in on Saturday and we decided that we will go and see them once more on Monday to check the situation.

I am in a mood to cancel it and look elsewhere but I wonder if there are any Torrevieja sofa shops that would take the order and deliver within a few days?  Anyone got any recommendations along those lines?

Good job we do actually have something old to sit on (left by the previous owners).  I’ve read bad reviews of Conforma in other places so maybe my story is not unusual.

Hi Michael , Conforama have previous form for taking orders with partial payments and then giving no reliable date for collection / delivery.

It has happened to us and we eventually asked for  and recieved our money back, going elsewhere and purchasing there and then, the said item from stock. We have shopped there again , however we will now only purchase items they have in stock ready for collection or delivery.

I hope it all works out ok for you.

LeckyLes.

Yes they offered me my deposit back when I went in a couple of weeks ago but I said “no thanks, I want the sofa “.

But guess what’s just happened.  An email sent about half an hour ago tells me that it’s available.  Glory be!!  I said send it any day, the sooner the better.

Michael, That will be very welcome news for you.

I'm pleased things appear to have eventually been sorted

Yes, thanks for your good wishes Les.  We had a short exchange of emails and agreed a delivery date of Saturday morning.  Let’s see if that works!

Hi, we are also having problems getting our sofa delivered we ordered it  September Told it would take 8to 10 weeks to deliver. We agreed that was fine and would be back over in Spain within that timeframe. We then got a call saying our sofa was in the store and it would delivered in 2days   great news we thought as we were still going to be in Spain .it didn't arrive. We had to return to UK but had arrangements with our neighbors to take delivery for us. We have called on several occasions also emailed and had no reply. In the meantime we gave the sofas  left in the house when we bought it away to a charity. When we arrive back in Spain we won't have anything to sit on. If only we knew their track record for non delivery we would have shopped elsewhere. We paid full payment for the sofa . So getting pretty annoyed now .

September - 2023 - Spent alot to furnish a new propoerty in La Zenia thought it best to order from the one store - conforama.es but it wasnt, all items were from other stores and Conforama just stock them, then those stores all use different courier companies. Two items never arrived one I got a refund for and one they never refunded me for even though it was returned to them. SO I would never buy from this company again.

Some time ago my late husband and I ordered an office chair from Conforama but after 4 different delivery dates, and 4 different non-deliveries we gave up and went elsewhere.
