Any recommendations for fresh turkeys this year? And prices if possible please.

The last post on here that I could find, was from 2020, when there were a few recommendations for Gama, and prices were about €2.50 per kilo.

Many thanks for the help, advice and information from all the helpful people on this Forum throughout the year. Wishing you all a Happy and Healthy Christmas.

Cheers. Thank you. I’ll checkout our Carrefour in Torrevieja.

If u have a dialprix near you, they take orders for them. We got ours from there last year and if you only want the turkey crown, it’s perfectly ok to have them chop the legs n wings off . Then they charge you by the remaining weight .

Carrefour is 5.49 a kilo or 24.70 for a 4.5kg one. Mercadona got them in last year but only in the week leading up to Christmas. We miss Gama.

Consum now has frozen turkeys in at €24.50 for between 3.4 and 4 kg. All the signs on the packaging are in English so I assume they are imported from UK.

Dialprix say they are getting fresh ones in from the 19th but they didn't know what the cost would be.

Thank you to everyone for your help.

By way of a final update, all the supermarkets had them from December 19th. We bought from Carrefour at €5.49 per kilo. They had small ones that were about 4kg and larger ones about 6kg. Happy New Year to you all.

We got a fresh 3.2kg turkey from Mercadona and it was €19.67. It cooked really well and was delicious 👍
