Why not put in a bit of effort and search out the best option for the dog or at least try and find a Rescue Centre instead of pushing the responsibility on to others. You are obviously not an animal lover otherwise this post would not exist.

The irresponsibility of people regarding these innocent animals of all varieties never ceases to amaze me....

...

Totally agree!

Hi Traceyjane and Lady in Purple,

I, and I think many other members, would love to hear if this story had a happy ending.  Perhaps you could let us know if it does? 🐶 🥰

Many thanks and kind regards,

Kim

Just to update everyone, a wonderful lady from a rescue centre has agreed to take the dog, completed paperwork this week and she is taking the animal today, after agreeing with his with her,  I had another lady who looks like she would be an amazing owner contact me afterwards and I will put both these people in touch with each other.

Thank you so much to everyone who offered to help our beautiful dog, really appreciate it, quite humbling - thanks too for costablanca forum, amazing website, I just hope it doesn’t get degraded by those trolls and social media antagonists who can’t wait to criticise, complain, judge others without the facts and peddle their negativity as if their lives have never taken a turn for the worst or made a mistake, I acted honestly and only want the very best for this animal- which sadly I can no longer provide.

Hi Bencr85,

The charity I recommended, SATS in Dolores, do this and, like Torrevieja dog pound, they're also always looking for volunteer dog walkers.  It's a lovely way to help out and have fun,  especially if you're missing your woofs 🐶  Perhaps worth checking out whether there's a rescue closer to you?

Kind regards,

Kim
