When you opened your account did you sign up for their Online Banking? If not I would recommend that you do, so much easier to be able to check your account anytime. I find their mobile App is very good. I’m assuming that they will have taken the account fee, maybe best to contact them,so that ...

...if they have taken it you don’t incur any further charges.

thankyou for replying, yes I do have online banking but not looked I must check it

I’ve only had a sabadell account for just over a month and just been debited €14.84 in maintenance charges.  That’s on a Key account plus.  Is this the same as the 1/4 charges does anyone know?  I thought it was €30 a 1/4 and then €45 every 2 years.  Just before I head into them tomorrow 😂

Thank you. MA

Hi I think the €14.84 will be pro rata for the amount of time you have had the account open. The quarterly fees it would appear have been increased from €30 to €35, not that anyone seems to have had any notification! With regards to the €45 every 2 years that figure could and probably will change, once again without any notification, also there does not seem to be any set pattern as to when this fee is taken.

If you do decide to go to Sabadell, please will you be kind enough to post on the forum what they have to say?

Thanks for the reply.   I will be happy to post the outcome to the thread.   I am assuming that the account you have the query on is also a key account plus?

OK so we need to know which other banks have lower charges than these ones.  Can anyone help?
