I don’t see any evidence of easyjet being bribed, just an airbus person with a prior conviction, but my point was it wasn’t what was asked, people are asking how to get a refund...
As has been previously pointed out, Easyjet has removed the option of a refund from their site despite the fact that they are legally obliged to give one within 7 days of the flight being cancelled. Easyjet are presently lobbying the government to be allowed to deny the option of a refund and ,instead, offer a voucher for future travel instead. As yet, the government has made no decision on this but other government, such as the Canadians, have allowed airlines to proceed with this option so it may be only a matter of time before the British Government follows suit. Since the option of a refund has been removed from the Easyjet website travellers are expected to call the airline to make the request, just another ruse to make things more difficult as the volume of calls is so great that it is virtually impossible to get through! However,Simon Calder(the travel expert of BBC fame!) suggests you try 01617749879, which is the number for overseas calls, then press 1 for English and wait.
