Most restaurants are open, but at a reduced capacity.
At present when going into a restaurant, there are just empty tables, tables are not laid out with wine glasses, cutlery and napkins, so it's a soulless affair not much atmosphere, I'm hoping as things move on this will improve but I'm not holding my breath, I think to use an oft quoted phrase th...

...is is the "new normal"
The new 'normal' won't actually start until Spain comes out of lockdown. I would suggest that you keep an eye on the N332 Facebook page or the La Moncloa site.

Car hire.
Do you Spain. Com. Brokers for most car hire companies. Many are based at the airport, some are located nearby but you have to go to the ground floor and wait for a vehicle to take you to their base.
We always used the big names based inside the concourse.
Do not pay for DO YOU SPAIN’s insurance. The car hire company will try to sell their fully comprehensive insurance to you themselves but you don’t need to take it ( we always did). You must take pictures of all marks on the car before leaving , car will be checked upon return and there may be a queue so be there in good time.

Before we bought our car, we used Record. Yes, I too would recommend them. They are in the Concorde as soon as you come through , you will see it on the left. Go and take a ticket for the queue.
Always booked thro’ do you Spain. Com but you can go directly onto their site but worth comparing prices from their site and the other one.

Hi another question, what's the best car hire to go for, I will only use it during the day as I will be having a drink at night, how much does anyone know for two weeks how much it would cost. Many thanks for your helpful responses
