I just checked EasyJet and they seem to be flying to Alicante from London Gatwick but not from Belfast ( NI)

Go online and take a look at the airport your friends would be flying from.  Hope they make it!

Mind you, this quarantine business would need to  be withdrawn. No fun having to sit in for 2 weeks when you are on holiday!

A lot of bars and restaurants are open now but running at a lower capacity and safety thing put in place, if going out to eat I  would recommend you book in advance, make sure you bring face masks as you will need them for going in shops. Think this is going to be the new norm untill a vaccine is found.

Face masks are mandatory, even in the street and not just for going into shops, if you are going to be within 2 metres of anyone!

Yes sorry if there are a lot of people about, I went to Xenia Boulevard yesterday and wore one while walking round but not everyone did but all had them on in the shops.

As far as car hire goes we have tried loads and like Easyoption  the best. They meet you so no queuing, they don’t charge for a tank of petrol with inflated prices or try to make you pay exorbitant prices for insurance. They also don’t pretend you’ve damaged the car and Try to make you pay. The prices are very competitive and the worry of all the above is taken away 👍

I found it all a bit close for comfort in honesty and hey fellow world dwellers please think we all in this together try to keep away from others it’s just not fair. We have been holed up for 10 weeks to be allowed a little freedom abuse it you will lose it!
