We returned yesterday to Uk having driven from costa Blanca and uk four weeks previously. We spend hours filling in forms -nobody stopped us at any borders and asked for these forms. The only one you have to fill in is on the government website called the locator form upon your return to uk

Thanks

Chris

We drove to Spain a couple of weeks ago -no one asked for these forms ( that we’d spent hours sourcing) drove straight through French/Spanish border. Similarly on our return trip on Saturday. You have to fill in government locator form upon your return to the uk. Good luck-we drove without stopping 24 hours all goo

3 weeks ago, at the beginning of September we came through France via the Eurotunnel, then down to the Marina Alta area. We printed off the health check form, but we were never asked for any forms, at passport control onto and off the Eurotunnel or on the whole journey down here.  There were...

... no checks on the French/Spanish border.

Thanks

Chris

Hi There, I drove down a couple of weeks ago through France and tried to fill in the Spanish form but It will not let you complete without a flight number and the seat number. I didn't try to put in ferry details so if you are missing France out there could be a way. Like the UK they are not thinking about the whole picture. However, there are no checks at the boarder. If you are driving through France you will need to complete the French form which is in two parts it is basically a declaration of being covid free and passenger details who with and where you are staying. Still, nice drive.

We didn’t stay overnight as I am high risk -drove straight through France from Eurotunnel train (excellent) arrived Calais and headed for Rouen, Le Mans, Tours, Poitiers, Bordeaux then crossing border at San Sebastián. Pamplona, Zaragoza Valencia then Alicante

We filled in loads of forms which were a waste of time -we were not stopped at French Spanish border. We used motorway tags to enable us to drive straight through tolls not having to fiddle about finding change in the middle of the night!  Our first time driving to Spain brilliant trip -motorway service stations are not busy and the toilets were very clean-good luck and go for it!

No straight off the shuttle onto motorway only 30 minutes through the tunnel and away you go.......

You pay tolls at the barriers you cant avoid them unless you take the non motorway route but your better paying the tolls it will save you 2-3 hours a day.
