Hi has anyone any feed back on Do you Spain car hire from Alicante looking to hire for 4 weeks initially

Do You Spain is just a broker and will give you a car from one of the on airport dealers. I hired from them and took out their insurance. When I got to the airport it was with Goldcar and they said the insurance was not valid and would have to take out theirs. Eventually they accepted but told me I would have to pay for any damage and then claim from Do You Spain.
Goldcar is terrible, by the way.
Try the actual car hire companies if you can.

Thanks for your reply,hiring from airport is a nightmare and so expensive they look for £1200 + excess in their hire clauses

Take a good Video of Car before you drive away in a bright area, Have 1 of their employees beside you when taken Video. Also take Video of internal of Car. They will want Credit cards details as deposit any damage will be taken from your Credit card and you will not be informed till it too late, This goes for all Car hire companies at Airport,
Try Daya Nueva Car hire, they have a website up, reliable well service Car, modern enough, but they are down size in New Year,

Hi Do you Spain have very poor Customer services. If anything goes wrong you are on your own.

Hi,
I have not hired in Spain for some time but when I did I used autoeurope (www.autoeurope.co.uk).
Coys car rental (www.coysrent-a-car.com) has been recommended on here in the past.
As mentioned by another poster, avoid Goldstar.

Please avoid do you spain, plenty of local options stress free, Wheels in Spain, magnum, coys, lara cars and many more !!
